Japan Airlines to introduce first class on Tokyo-New Delhi service
Japan Airlines (JAL) will start offering first class service on its daily flights between Tokyo and New Delhi from 11-Jan-09. As business passenger demand on this route has been particularly strong over the past years, in Oct-07 JAL increased flight frequency establishing a daily service on the route.

On 01-Aug-08 the carrier also increased seat capacity by switching the aircraft used from a 777-200ER to a 747-400.  In response to this robust demand, JAL has decided to also offer on the route from early next year its First Class service. Tickets for the new class of service on this route are on sale.
