RGIA inaugurates pre-paid taxi counters
With an aim to further improve passenger experience at the airport; two pre-paid taxi counters were inaugurated (13-Nov-08) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad. The two pre-paid taxi counters are located at the arrival ramp of the Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) in the airport and the Public Transportation Centre (PTC).

Passengers traveling from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport have the option of using the pre-paid taxi services. The passengers will be issued a token by the pre-paid taxi personnel at the arrival ramp and be ferried in the free shuttle bus to the Public Transportation Centre where the pre-paid vehicles queue up.

Mr. Viswanath Attaluri, Chief Commercial Officer, GHIAL said, “The inauguration of pre-paid taxi counters at RGIA is a very satisfying moment for all of us at GHIAL. We shall strive continuously to enhance the passenger experiences to make RGIA, a true national asset that all of us can be proud of.”
