Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) commenced (15-Nov-06) a complete refurbishment of its existing B747 fleet.
The carrier will upgrade carpets, seat covers as well as the exterior of the aircraft. PIA plans to operate the newly refurbished equipment to European destinations. Meanwhile, President General Pervez Musharraf stated the flag carrier needed to improve its service and on time operations for both international and domestic services. |
