• Lease period: five years;
• Delivery: July 2005 to October 2006;
• Tender deadline: 31 March 2005.

Meanwhile, Indian Airlines has commenced price negotiations with Airbus for purchase of up to 43 Airbus A319/A320A321 aircraft. Price negotiations are expected to be concluded within ten days. The proposal would be placed before the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs in March 2005 and orders are expected to be placed by March-April.
