Kingfisher Airlines announced (10-Feb-09) that it would commence flights connecting Sholapur with Mumbai. The services will be operated four times a week and will be operated with Kingfisher Red Service using an ATR aircraft.
Commenting on the launch of this new route, Mr. Subhash Gupte, Vice Chairman, The UB Group and Director, Kingfisher Airlines Limited, said, “I am delighted to announce the launch of services connecting Sholapur with the nation’s financial capital, Mumbai. The flights connecting Sholapur with Mumbai will cater to the unmet needs the community of traders, entrepreneurs and industrialists who have been instrumental in bolstering trade and commerce in the region.”
