SpiceJet announces (24-Mar-09) the appointment of senior level managers in key positions within the company to strengthen the core team.
The new joiners include: Shilpa Bhatia, Vice President - Sales Strategy and Corporate. Shilpa joins the company with over 15 years experience in Strategic Planning, Sales & Business Development, key Account Management and Team Management. Her earlier assignments were with Amadeus India (Bird Group) and Sahara Airline. Her core function will be to drive the growing corporate business for the company.
Manish Koul, General Manager – Airport Projects comes with over 14 years of experience in international and domestic aviation industry. His earlier assignments include successful stints with Indigo airline, IBM Daksh, Cambata Aviation and KLM Airlines. In his current assignment he will focus on enhancing the processes and services at the various airports to provide better customer experience.
Shailender Khanna, General Manger – In Flight Services Department brings with him 11 years of rich experience, from aviation and non aviation companies. Prior to SpiceJet, he has worked with Indigo, IBM Daksh, TMI and Jet Airways. He heads the in-flight team at SpiceJet.
Gitanjalli Bhattacharya has joined SpiceJet as General Manager – Customer Service and Process Planning. She has more than 10 years of experience in BPO Operations, Process Migration and Business Development. She has earlier worked with Tech Mahindra Limited, American Express and GE – Capital. She is heading the Customer Service and the Reservations function at SpiceJet.
Tribhuvan Prakash, Senior Manager – Training In Flight Services Department. He brings with him over 14 years of experience in the field of Training, Development and has worked with Indigo, Sahara Airline, ModiLuft and Hilton International Kensington. In his new role he will be looking into all aspects of cabin crew training.
