Air Deccan signed (27-Sep-06) a ten-year, USD150 million components contract with Lufthansa Technik covering its A320 fleet.
Air Deccan will have access to Lufthansas component centre in Germany and will use its Indian distribution network to procure components. Air Deccan previous contract was with SAS. Meanwhile, Air Deccan announced (01-Oct-06) it has selected Oman Air to provide heavy maintenance facilities for its fleet of ATR42-500s. This represents the first third party maintenance agreement held by Oman Air. |
