Delhi International awards three-year duty free contract

Delhi International Airport Ltd awarded (15-Nov-06) a JV consortium between Alpha Airports and Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd the interim three-year and three-month duty free contract at Delhi International Airport.
The contract covers duty free outlets in the departures and arrivals halls. Alpha plans to double the size of the duty free area at the airport. Under Phase I, the JV will occupy all the existing ITDC outlets from 01-Jan-07 while a larger arrivals outlet is constructed. In Phase II, a new departures retail mall will be constructed by Sep-07. |
