Autogrill wins first India order at Bangalore airport, worth 56 mln usd in 7 yrs

MILAN (AFX) - Autogrill SpA said that it has won its first order in India to operate food and drink services at the Bangalore new international airport for seven years, starting from April 2008 when the airport will be opened.
The contract, awarded to its HMSHost US unit, is expected to generate 56 mln usd in sales and could be extended for a further two years, it added in a statement. It also said that in five years air traffic at Bangalore more than doubled, with passengers rising to 5 mln in 2005 from 2.3 mln in 2001. This year Bangalore passengers are expected to top 7 mln, it added. |
