Qatar Airways announced (22-Dec-06) plans to launch twice daily service to Ahmedabad and Chennai from Doha, effective Apr-07.

Meanwhile, the carrier announced plans to launch three times weekly Doha-Hyderabad service, with A321 equipment, and twice weekly Doha-Cochin service with A321 equipment, although commencement dates were not disclosed.
