Emirates launched (30-Jan-06) eight times weekly Dubai-Thiruvananthapuram service using A330-200 equipment in three class configuration.
Frequency has also been increased on the Dubai-Chennai route from four times to eight times per week and on the Dubai-Cochin route from twice weekly to daily. Emirates also confirmed (02-Mar-06) plans to launch eight times weekly Dubai-Bangalore service on 29-Oct-06 with A330-200/B777-200 equipment. Bangalore will be Emirates' 86th destination. The carrier plans to launch nine new destinations in 2006. Emirates also operates to Delhi (daily), Hyderabad (eight times weekly) and Mumbai (12 times weekly). |
