Emirates announced (19-Dec-05) plans to launch eight times weekly Dubai-Thiruvananthapuram service from 01-Feb-06, using A330-200 aircraft.
Emirates also plans to increase Dubai-Cochin service from five times weekly to daily and Dubai-Chennai service from four to eight times weekly from 01-Feb-06. Emirates currently already operates the following services to India:
- Dubai-Mumbai (19 times weekly);
- Dubai-Delhi (7);
- Dubai- Chennai (4);
- Dubai-Cochin (5);
- Dubai- Hyderabad (8).
