Jagson and IndiGo defer launch
Jagson Airlines and IndiGo Airlines announced (26-Apr-06) they have deferred the launch of operations, due to delays in government approval and insufficient airport infrastructure.

Jagson announced services will now commence in Jun-06, while IndiGo services will commence in Jul-06.

Meanwhile, Jagson confirmed (10-Apr-06) plans to take delivery of two A321s by the end of May-06 to launch services, initially on the Delhi-Bangalore route. The carrier plans to operate six aircraft by the end of 2006 operating to nine cities, including Lucknow, Bangalore, Mumbai, Koklata, Jaipur, Goa and Cochin and thereafter to Hyderabad. The carrier has reportedly finalised plans to buy 20 A321 aircraft and will be the first LCC to offer economy and executive classes.
