Air India, for its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express, has selected SR Technics as its provider of MRO services for CFM International CFM56-7B engines and Honeywell GTCP131-9B APUs powering its fleet of B737-800 aircraft.
Both agreements run for three years, each with a possible extension of two years. This new business relationship underlines SR Technics’ strategy to focus its growth efforts on the Asian and Middle Eastern markets. The opening of an SR Technics sales office in Mumbai, India, earlier this year marked a further important step in establishing customer contacts and emphasises SR Technics’ commitment to the region.
