Air India increases frequencies to Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Patna

Air India will be adding a daily night flight between Delhi and Mumbai. Flight IC624 from Delhi will leave at 2300 hrs and arrive at Mumbai at 0120 hrs (next day). Similarly IC623 from Mumbai shall depart at 2300 hrs and arrive at Delhi at 0120 hrs (next day). The airline is offering an all inclusive one-way Economy class fare of Rs 5330/- on these night flights.

On the Delhi-Kolkata sector IC266 will take off from Delhi at 1015 hrs and arrive at Kolkata at 1230 hrs. The return flight IC 265 will depart from Kolkata at 1325 hrs and arrive at Delhi at 1540 hrs.

From Delhi to Chennai IC 437 will leave Delhi at 1240 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, to reach Chennai at 1520 hrs. On Tuesdays and Saturdays the flight will leave Delhi at 1430 hrs and arrive at Chennai at 1710 hrs. From Chennai IC 438 will take off at 1300 hrs and arrive at Delhi at 1545 hrs on all days of the week.

Delhi-Bangalore flight IC 902 will leave Delhi at 1310 hrs and arrive Bangalore at 1550 hrs.. The return flight IC 901 will leave Bangalore at 1400 hrs and arrive at Delhi at 1645 hrs on all days except Saturday. On Saturdays the flight will leave Bangalore at 1500 hrs and arrive at Delhi at 1735 hrs.

On the Delhi Patna sector the airlines will operate IC415 leaving Delhi at 1805 hrs and arriving at Patna at 1925 hrs. From Patna IC416 will depart at 2000 hrs at reach Delhi at 2125 hrs.

Air India is also starting a direct flight between Chennai and Coimbatore 4 times a week from 17th May 2010. The flight will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. From Chennai flight IC 929 will take of at 1135 hrs and land at Coimbatore at 1220 hrs. On the return leg flight IC930 will leave Coimbatore at 1300 hrs to arrive Chennai at 1345 hrs.
