Overview - Alliance Air Alliance Air, was established in 1996 as the regional subsidiary of Indian Airlines, and operates an ageing fleet of B737-200s and ATR-42s to secondary cities such as Bhavnagar, Indore, Jodhpur, Khajuraho and Varanasi. Over the coming months, the B737s may be withdrawn from service entirely or could potentially be converted into freighter configuration. Following the merger of Indian Airlines and Air India, the Alliance Air brand will be replaced by Air India Express. Last updated 2 August 2007 Copyright Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation
